Apples
Apples is our little  long haired miniature pie-bald.  She has the very sweetest disposition that we have ever seen in any of the dachshunds.  She is so very, very loyal and faithful.  When we've been gone for a few hours and we come home, she is so excited that she jumps up and down and makes the cutest little noises, talking to us.....just letting us know how much she missed us and how glad she is that we're back.  She's Mom's baby.
If you want a puppy with the kindest ways and the strongest devotion.....we would suggest looking at Apples's puppies.  You can go down to the end of this page to see her first litter from last year. They were born on October 8,  2008 and were as cute as cute could be.  Their daddy is our own Cooper.  You can get on his page on our website and see him.  They are now at their "forever" homes, and  right now, Apples is taking a season off, but if you like her puppies, (and who couldn't?) . . . just keep checking, because maybe at the end of 2009, we'll have some more.
Apples LOVES good, clean, fresh water and drinks alot of it.  Maybe that's why her skin and long hair is so beautiful.
Here is Apples resting on the couch with one of her friends, Scooter.  Apples favorite thing to do is rest on the couch with Mom, Tootie, Daisy or any of the others.   Apples is very pregnant here and needs her rest.
    Here Apples is STILLresting
with Daisy (also pregnant) and with Prissy (our other female) and Cooper (the other pie-bald) who is the daddy of Apple's babies.  Cooper is never very far away from Apples.  He's very attached to her and lays with her constantly.  They are all very close to each other.  They're a joy to be around.  You can see how far along Apples is, in her pregnancy.  We took her to the vet, every day for a week due to our anxiety of her getting so large.  (smile)  However, she had her babies just as easy as could be.  We were very proud of her.
Here she is, very close to delivery..............and she's resting for the big ordeal.
Apples loves to lay in the flowers......and lay in the sun
Pretty Apples.....and so sweet
Apples taking a break from the puppies, for just a minute in the sun.
Apples and her 6 babies that are only 3 days old.
    What a good mom !
"If you've ever been a mom that nursed, then you all know how I feel.   "I'M" tired!
Shhhhhhh !!!!!  She's finally sleeping.........
6 babies......3 black and white pie-balds, 1 like Mom and Dad, and 2 chocolate and whites.
"Can I have a little privacy here please???  I mean, honestly!  There is a limit to pictures.
Apples laying on Mom's bed, feeding Sailor.  The other 5 are playing elsewhere on the bed.
Here are all six of Apples babies.   Apples is outside, (going potty) and all 6 are fast asleep.  From left to right is Beethovan,  Sailor, Raider 3-Spot (he's sold already), Cooper Jr. (on top) Apples the 2nd, (on bottom and Teeny 4 spot on the far right.  They are the cutest bunch of pie-balds ever!  (Course, I "am" a little one sided here)
Mom is tired here, can you tell?  I think she's more
tired of the picture taking,  than anything.  (smile).
More  Pictures  of  Apples  and  her  babies.
Apples  laying  on  Mom's  bed  with 2  of  her  babies,  Raider &  Sailor  AND  one  of  Daisy's  puppies, (which is a week older)....Cookie, who layed right down and fell asleep with Raider and Sailor.  Isn't that too cute?
Apples is a really GOOD mama......she would raise any baby.....but when the "queen bee"  DAISY saw this......you can bet that little Cookie was told to "come home and come home NOW".......... Daisy is not as "easy" going as Apples is and she's TWICE as protective.   It's sure a cute picture though.  We couldn't resist snapping it while they were on Mom's bed.
Man,  this  is  the  life!    Mom's  gonna  need  a  bigger  bed.  You  can  see  Raider  3  Spot  here  really  good.   (But  remember,  he's  sold  already everyone)  (Sorry)
This is Prissy, coming to see the puppies when they turned 4 weeks old.
Here is Prissy,  Scooter and Cooper (under the blanket) all laying on Mom's bed, watching the puppies in their crate.  Well, Prissy is much more interested in them than Dad and Cooper.  Prissy loves ALL puppies..
All of the dogs and puppies that you see on our site, are ALL very well bred, very cared for by veterinarians, and by all of us.  Puppies are potty trained by potty pads before leaving home to go to their "forever" homes.  (Their parents go outside, but if they can't GET outside, they have been known to use the pads occasionally.)  We have all our dogs on the very best food, plus extras -  and all dogs, as well as puppies, are very socialized.   Even our mascots, are very socialized and great dogs.    All parents are on site here at our home, and they are all part of our family.  Come and see them if you're interested.  Make sure you call before coming.
(Even though these pictures are of puppies that have found other homes now, we just HAD to leave the pictures on our site, because we were soooo proud of them, and of how wonderful Apples was with all of them.  She's a wonderful dog, and MOM'S "baby"......if you've never had a piebald, you should consider one.....They have the BEST disposition EVER!)
Apples is expecting in November....so, keep checking with us....and when they're born, we'll put their pictures on our new arrivals or our puppy page.
The following pictures are pictures of Apples FIRST litter......Apples was one of the greatest MOM'S I have ever seen in the dog world.
We just HAD to keep their pictures.  I only hope that we get such cute puppies this time that we had last time.
