Popeye - our biggest stud muffin
This is "Popeye". Popeye is a "designer" miniature dachshund. He's an Isabella Fawn color and is one of the sweetest natured dogs ever. He's one of our proven studs and he has sired many "show" quality puppies. His registered name is "Handsome Popeye".....and handsome hardly describes him. He is regal, yet loving to everyone, especially children. He is very social and comes the minute you call his name. His skin is like satin and he has a gentle yet strong spirit. I'm trying to sleep here, but this teenager is keeping me awake with her phone, and that music......UGH!
But, as you can see, who could get mad at her? I really don't need a nap anyway.
The girls are trying to get a good picture, but I smell something r e a l l y good......what is that???
I personally think I look like a "doberman" here, well a very short one, of course, but a doberman, just the same. Don't you think so? Oh, oh.....and did you notice my Harley Davidson collar?? That's because we all drive Harley's at my home. Cool, huh? Course, "I'm" in the side car, they won't let me drive.....but I'll bet I'd be good, if they'd let me.
What is that under there??? It smells yummy!
Yeah, I'm cute.....but that sun.....wow! Can we change positions and put YOU in the sun??? (smile)
I'm gonna get that squeaker out of this thing if it's the last thing I do!
Yeah, as you can see, we're trying to get a good picture here, but HA.....the wind came up and ..... well, - all "I" can say is, . . . . (ahem) it didn't hurt "MY" hair any.... (can't say the same for my buddy Chantel however.) ha ha ha

Look at her, (poor thing)......she actually thinks that SHE'S the cute one. Oh well, let her dream!
How wrong is that man? I mean, I was only kidding.....she actually put me down after that last comment.....wow, ....talk about "sensitive." I mean, we can't all be as handsome as ME.
Ok....you might not notice it....but this isn't ,me. No, this is two of my buddies that help take care of me.....Max, my BIG buddy.....and Marce....(you may recognize her, as the "sensitive" one) that dumped me off her lap because of my one little comment. Otherwise, she's really cool ! (Just sensitive)

Maisy and Popeye on a good scent in the back yard. We have a huge yard, so there's lots of scents.
