This is our precious "Scooter"...... he's our first dachshund and the "top" dog at JDRS. He's a miniature red smooth coat and weighs 9 lbs. He's gentle, loving to everyone and very social with other dogs. His best friend is "Murphy" our cat....and his favorite activity is chasing and playing with him, as well as the other dogs. Our stud dogs are all AKC registered and very handsome dogs, with very good lines. They are very protective and good watchdogs, yet gentle enough to play with cats and children. Scooter loves chasing the squirrels on our property, and has even been known to climb up a few trees to get to them. Course, once he gets up there, he's usually pretty stumped trying to get down, but with a little encouragement and a little help from us, he gets down fine. The squirrel can always climb higher than he can, much to Scooter's dismay. Scooter is a proven stud and has just sired some of our puppies that will make great Christmas presents. Scooter loves and us & guards his family all the time. He barks every time he hears ANYthing outside of our windows at night.

Here he is with 2 of his girls, Tootie and Daisy. He loves them both and is vert protective of them both.

These were Scooter and Prissy's 1st puppies....from left to right, they were Roly Poly, (male) Teeny Tot, (female) and Rocko. They went to their "forever homes" in May of 2008. BEAUTIFUL puppies.

"Whew !!! ...... this is hard work... helping Max & Ramsey take care of everybody......it wears a guy out....so, guess it's time for a nap.".......AGAIN.

Scooter is always alert......he's the very best watch dog we've ever had....and Prissy is our neighborhood watch commander. She barks, and Scooter goes and checks it out. Quite a good little

team, actually. And look out when they ALL see or hear something. Wow......a burglar's nightmare.

How can you resist those eyes? We sure can't at our household. Scooter has never, (well hardly ever) heard a harsh word...nor has he needed too.....he's such a good little guy. He's (almost) 9 lbs. of love and fun and pure energy......and look......you can see his AKC tag. He's proud of that ! So are we ! What a cutie! He's Mom's favorite cause HE was the FIRST of them all !

Scooter is such a good little guy. . . he'll even share his food....with anyone. Here he's sharing with Cooper. Scooter's puppies will be as loving as he is !

This is our mascot and our friend, Max. He's Mom's very best friend and has been with her for a long, long time. He's really BIG and he may "look" slow, but just let him think that Mom or the family, (especially one of us doxies) are in trouble, and watch how fast he can come. He stays outside with us when Mom goes in to answer the phone, to protect us from chicken hawks. Yep! Chicken hawks.....they're big, and they fly around alot. Mom won't take any chances, and they won't EVEN try to come around Max. It pays to have a friend like him. Good boy Max! We love you.

This is our doberman's, Ramsey's, water bowl....but Scooter and all the others drink out of it too. It's funny watching them, because they're so short and it's really cute when they're all drinking at the same time.

This is one of mom's favorite pictures of me. She said it shows my "good looks." I "do" look pretty good even if I have to say so myself !!!

This is ME with my new babies......can you believe that I only got ONE boy out of all 5 babies. ONE BOY!!!! Well, all I can say, is......We boys are really outnumbered around here. . . . but it's ok......they're mine!. And Mom calls my little guy, Scooter Jr. cause he looks just like ME!

I'm on Mom's bed here, trying to take a nap, but the grandkids are here too, and boy, are they noisy! Guess nap time will wait.

I know Popeye's name is "Handsome Popeye".....but I think "I"should be called "Handsome Scooter" too. What do you think? Ok....well, - maybe that would be too many handsomes........Well then, maybe mine could be - - - "Good lookin Scooter"..... or maybe, "Little Scooter Hottie." Oh wait, I forgot, this page is rated G.
