This pretty little lady is Tooty. Actually - her registered name is "Little Miss Tooty," but, we just call her Tooty. She's a little ball of energy with a really sweet disposition. She loves everyone, doesn't know a stranger and would probably help a burglar to the silverware, but we love her because she's so loving and sweet. Tooty is a miniature dilute wirehair, (which is pretty rare)... and she's got alot of heart. When she feels someone is sad or upset, she crawls up on your lap to make you feel better. You can't get any better than that. She gets along with the other dogs better than any of the others. She's had a really good litter of puppies, sired by our own Scooter.....you can see him on his page. They were born on April 2nd and will be ready to go to their "forever" homes in the middle of May. They're going to be really good puppies because they have great genetics.....their mom is the sweetest little dog and their dad has lots of courage, tenacity and devotion. Good combinations!

Actually they ARE waiting for the food. Can you tell? (smile) They all eat so well with each other.....they all have their own bowl, and they even know which bowl is theirs. . . . but even WITH their own bowls.....they still share.

These are pictures of Tooties first litter, born April 2, 2009. She had 5 of the cutest little things ever. Well, you can look and see for yourself.....(we're sort of predjudiced, you see) Remember these are the LAST LITTER...that Tootie & Scooter had. Tootie will be having her next litter in November. Keep checking in with us.
We had 5 little ones....and you can see how little they are next to the ink pen. We have 3 reds, like their daddy and two black and tans. One little black and tan is very, VERY tiny.....so, unless she grows ALOT, we will not allow her to be bred. We have 4 girls and 1 boy......and what cuties they are.
This is Tooty....,with her babies.... wishing we would leave her alone....(so we did.) lol She's such a good mom.....and wouldn't leave her puppies for 3 days after they were born......we had to bring water, etc. to HER. Everyone is now well and happy and growing like a bad weed. (smile)
These are just a few pictures of when they were first born....as you can see, we used sterilized plastic to pick them up. You can never be too careful....we only picked up the bigger ones....the other 2 are so tiny, we didn't want to move them. They're growing alot now,.....they're not as tiny. They're the smallest miniature doxies I've ever seen though....
but they are absolutely perfect puppies.
Tooties puppies will go to their forever homes on May 21st. Deposits will be taken, so if you're interested.....please come by and choose your puppy, as they always go fast. Please call first as you will need to know what we expect before you come to view the pups, as far as the shoes, etc. to wear. Tootie is the sweetest dog we have.....she wants only to please us.....and can seem to sense our moods, and always runs to us to make us feel better. Her AKC registered name fits her well...."Little Miss Tooty." She's such a little delicate lady.....6 & 1/2 lbs. of sweetness.

We like to hide a rawhide bone and then tell Tooty to find it. This is what she's doing here, and guess what? She found it!
She's very confident in herself. You can tell by the way she waits for the camera to take her picture.
This is the puppies parents....Tooty and Scooter. Here they are sharing some liver and cottage cheese that Mom just made. It's a treat that they get twice a week.....and they all share so well. Tooty and Scooter are very close. Good parents. Here Scooter is letting Tooty share HIS food after she had aleady ate HERS. (smile)
Little Miss Tooty.......our little love. Almost 7 lbs. of loyalty, devotion & love. What a good little companian and friend she is to our home.
What a good mom Tooty is. We're so proud of her......and her puppies are beautiful....it's going to be hard to let them go.
