We began our "dachshund" adventure by buying one little AKC miniature dachshund for our son. The term, "once a doxie owner, always a doxie owner," is so true. We now love them so much that we have expanded to others, all AKC and show quality.
About our Mini Dachshund Puppies for Sale
Because of our love for the breed, and because so many friends of ours wanted one like ours, we began to breed these wonderful little dogs. We didn't intend to charge anything for our puppies at first, but because of the expense of vet procedures, food bills, toys, chews, etc., we had no choice but to charge at least enough to get back what it cost us to have them, which is why we now have a price to buy them.
Our puppies, as well as the adults, are loved, cuddled and are family members of our home. They live with us, travel with us and (I believe) think that they're one of us. They all have great pedigrees and can be shown as show dogs, if that's your desire. Whether you want a show dog, or a family pet to love and travel with, you can get one through JDR's Dachshunds - one that you'll be proud to show to anyone!
We also have stud services from proven studs. Our studs are loving, loyal, protective and great watchdogs, yet loves to cuddle in your lap or lay in front of the fireplace with their owners. We have three of the most beautiful stud dogs around in our area. They each have produced beautiful miniature dachshund puppies that are healthy, loving and they all have great personalities. It's a joy to watch them grow and we're always very sad to see them leave, but we love it that we can produce such great puppies that give such joy to their new owners. That's what it's all about - loving the breed. It's a wonderful breed! If you have a female, and need a stud, then get on their pages and see what wonderful dogs they are - you won't be sorry.
If you love doxies, and are interested in a beautiful, loving puppy, give us a call, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. HOWEVER…
We want to make sure they go to the right home, as they are family members of ours and we love each one. So, if you're not familiar about dachshunds, read up on them first or ask us and we'll tell you. This way, you know what you'll be getting. We want them to be happy wherever they go, and that won't be possible unless you know about their temperament, their personalities and how to care for them. With all of that said, if you're interested, give us a call. We'll be happy to show you all of our family. We have quite a few puppies right now, but they go fast.
Also, when you arrange to come see the miniature dachshund puppies - please be prepared to take off your shoes before you come inside. You can bring slippers with you, or extra socks, but because of all of our puppies, we cannot take a chance on Parvo being brought into our home. You can ask us when you get in touch with us, and we'll explain further.

AND....."They" are a "mated" pair (according to my grand-daughter, they're married.) (smile) Scooter and Prissy had puppies last March, 2008 and they were some of the cutest puppies you ever saw. We will be breeding her again in late 2009, so keep watching and we'll keep you informed.
This is "Cooper"....and there has NEVER been a sweeter dachshund. As you can see, he's a piebald.
This is Daisy and Popeye. They're friends.....unless he tries to take her chew toy. :)
Daisy, standing beside our flower bed. She's only outside because Mom is outside. She won't go out with anyone else but Mom. She loves it outside, (as long as Mom is with her.)
