I have had quite a few vets in all the years that "I" have been owned by dogs, but have never known a vet as kind and gentle as Dr. Boden and his staff.   They always have time to answer any question you may have....and believe me.....with all my dogs...."I" always have alot of questions.   I would recommend  Dr. Boden to anyone who buys any of my puppies, if you are anywhere close to where they are.  You can get on his website:  www.walkerveterinary.com, and see for yourself.      Most people who know me, know that I'm  not easily impressed.....but I'm very impressed with the staff at Walker Veterinary Hospital.   I'm very grateful that I found them and that Dr. Boden has been my moma dogs  AND their puppies doctor.
My favorite dog in the world, AND my dachshunds protector and friend, MAX, finally passed away after a long 14 years of living.....and when I  left him at Walker's to be cremated.......Rebecca  was so compassionate, kind and understanding with my  (practically) hysterical tears.  I was made to feel very comfortable with my hurt.....they even washed his blanket and  kept it until I could get it.
It doesn't get any better than that.
    Thank you Rebecca and staff!
Dr Boden
"Pilcher's Precious Boy" is getting his nails clipped here.   He just had his shot and his worm medicine and he weighs 2 and a half pounds.  He's our little chunker.
My husband says he hopes someone else renames him, because a boy shouldn't be called "Precious"..... he says it just doesn't sound right.  (smile)  Actually, he looks so much like his daddy, that maybe we'll call him "Pilcher's Precious Scooter the second."   You can get on Scooter's page to see what his daddy looks like.
This is our babies 1st visit to get to know their doctor.......these are all pictures of Dr. Boden weighing them, giving them their first shot, worm medicine, and all the other things that they do.....They even clipped their nails.....(Thank you Vanessa, because "I" hate that job.) . . . All puppies are all well, and doing great.
This is our little "Baby"...... she's barely a pound and Dr. says she will always be small, so we will not sell her until she is spayed.  She is too small to ever have puppies.  She DOES have, however, alot of spunk, and even chases and bosses around the adult dogs.....she's so cute when she runs.
              Getting ready for the vaccination.
Dr. Boden babying our little  "Baby" a little after her shot.....and being weighed.
(I told you he was a great vet.).....very professional, yet very kind and caring.....AND has a sense of humor...(which is rare.)
Dr. Boden was checking to see if "Scooter II" was all boy,  (smile)....and I'm happy to announce that he IS.
This is our little "Tootles".....she's the only one in the litter that had any wirehair in her.  She's really silky, however, for a wire.  Her mom is a dilute  hair, so we were expecting a few to be wires.....but we got only one.  The rest of the puppies are all smooths.  This little girl is a sweetie.
Dr. Boden is so thorough....professional.....and checks for everything.  As I said....."impressive."
Our little guy just did NOT want to swallow that medicine.....but persistance paid off.
The way that Chantel is cringing, you'd think Dr. Boden was giving the medicine to HER.  :-)
In reality, they actually gobbled it right down.  (Course, they ARE good eaters.)  (smile)
                    Vanessa, Kristen and Rebecca.
What nice girls they are..they're just part of the staff.....the others were off doing other things.  Thank you girls for all the love and care you show all the pets that come through your doors.....AND their owners as well, (so many staff members forget that WE have feelings also, and you NEVER  forget that).......Thank you.
We're fortunate to have you as our vet and staff.
"Yep, . . . you're a girl alright."
Being weighed and ears being checked.....
